The Fenway / Kenmore Square vacancy rate was found through a study of data gathered from the industry leading BostonPads (www.bostonpads.com) real time apartment rental database of over 120,000 listings. The vacancy rate includes apartments that are either vacant and/or currently available for rent. Of the 120,000 listings, over 2,000 of these listings are located in the Fenway and Kenmore Square neighborhoods. Over 150 apartments are currently available for rent in this centrally located and very popular part of the city. Currently, the Kenmore Square and Fenway real time vacancy rate is 7.9%. The real time vacancy rate does not include data gathered from large luxury buildings, as they were purposely omitted to ensure the highest accuracy of data.
